Duncan Days Volunteering

We’re looking for volunteers to help make Duncan Days a success! From helping in the Kid Zone to setup and cleanup, there are a few simple roles available — and every bit of help makes a difference. Spots are limited, so grab a shift while they’re available.

Annual COmbined Summer Church Service
Sunday, July 26th, 2026
Our annual outdoor combined service is happening at Duncan Christian High School field with several other churches. Bring something to sit on and a shade tent if you have one.
Time: 10am
Where: Duncan Christian High School Field (We will not have a service at the Khowutzun Heritage Centre this day)
Bring: Something to sit on, shade tent if you have one.
Valley connect sunday
August 2nd, 2026
Our annual Connect Sunday means we encourage you to gather as the church in multiple locations all over the Cowichan Valley! Choose to join a Valley Church meeting closest to where you live. Options will appear below as they get firmed up. You won't want to miss this opportunity if you are around for the August Long Weekend to connect with others!
Option 1: Duncan @ the Loree's place
Option 2: Thetis island (Walk-on the ferry, Stu and Heather will pick up).

Regular Events
Sunday Gatherings
10am @ the Khowutzun Heritage Centre, 200 Cowichan Way, Duncan.
Sunday Mornings during the 10am gathering. We encourage families to worship together for a few songs before kids are dismissed before the sermon. (Nursery-Grade 5)
Regular Jr. Youth goes from 6:30pm-8pm every other Wednesday and is for grades 5-7. *Regular programming starts back up in September

Young Adults

Small Groups
We have a few small groups that meet in various parts of the valley.

Men's Monthly Hike
Dates Monthly on a Saturday, various ranges of trail difficulty.

Moms Meetup:
We have a new mom’s group that is starting and will meet regularly midweek at various parks in the Cowichan Valley. Are you a mom that would love to connect? This is a great way to meet some people from our church with a space for the kiddos to play. If you are interested in getting on the group chat on WhatsApp, sign up here.
Daytimers Bible Study
Thursdays, 9-10:30am at Duncan Pentecostal Church.
